Welcome to Motion51

Motion51 is the canvassing platform for Florida campaigns. It is built for the way real campaigns work: a candidate or campaign manager runs the operation, volunteers knock doors, and every conversation is recorded against a real voter file.

What you can do with Motion51

• Canvass voters. Build turfs from the official Florida voter file, assign them to volunteers, and track every door knocked.
• Manage your team. Invite volunteers, scope what they can see, and review their activity.
• Read your data. See knock counts, contact rates, and per-volunteer activity in your reports.

How accounts are organized

Every Motion51 account belongs to a campaign. A campaign has:

• An Eligible Voter Pool — the slice of the voter file your campaign is contacting (district, party affiliation, vote history, and so on).
• One or more turfs — geographic territories drawn from your Eligible Voter Pool.
• One or more volunteers — the people who knock the turfs.

Where to start

If a Motion51 staff member set up your campaign with you, you are ready to build your first turf. Open the setup checklist on your dashboard.

If you are setting up a campaign on your own, start with the campaign profile and Eligible Voter Pool, then proceed to the checklist.
