The statewide SOS file at $100 covers LA County and is almost always the cheaper path for the full county.

- Visit Election Information Section in person at the Norwalk RR/CC office and complete a request form, OR mail a written request with name, address, birth date, signature, telephone number, and self-addressed stamped envelope. Appointments scheduled via 800-815-2666 (one person per appointment, up to 8 weeks in advance). Same Elections Code 2188 use certification required. Wet signature + photo ID required.
- Turnaround
- In-person appointment processing typically same-day for small requests; mailed requests 2-4 weeks. Bulk countywide extracts (~5.7M registered voters - largest county in the U.S.) typically delivered within 2-3 weeks on media.
- Use restrictions
- Elections Code 2188 / 2194 - election, scholarly, journalistic, political purposes only. Commercial use is a misdemeanor. No resale or transfer. Confidential voters suppressed.
