How to get the Macomb County voter file
Request it from the office below, send us the file, and you're ready to cut turf. Running countywide or in just part of Macomb County? This is the office either way.
- Where to request it
- Macomb County Clerk / Register of Deeds - Election Department (Clerk Anthony G. Forlini)(586) 469-6104 | elections@macombgov.org | 32 Market Street, Mount Clemens, MI 48043 | Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Cost
- $23 via state QVF (county-scoped). Direct county FOIA: actual duplication cost only.
- How to request
- Voter-file requesters are directed to the state QVF (FOIA) channel. For other election records, file a Michigan FOIA request directly with the Macomb County Clerk's FOIA Coordinator. Macomb also publishes a public 'Ballot Verifier' tool exposing every cast ballot image at pastelections.macombgov.org - a unique transparency tool not replicated in Wayne or Oakland.
- Turnaround
- 1-3 weeks via state QVF channel. Direct Macomb County FOIA: 5 business days statutory + 10 business days extension max.
- Use restrictions
- Same as statewide. Macomb County Clerk cannot waive MCL 168.509gg redactions.
Costs and rules change — confirm the current details with the office before you order. Once you have the file, we handle loading it, cutting turf, and getting your volunteers knocking.
