How to get the Douglas County voter file
Request it from the office below, send us the file, and you're ready to cut turf. Running countywide or in just part of Douglas County? This is the office either way.
- Where to request it
- Douglas County Election Commission(402) 444-8683 | voting.questions@douglascounty-ne.gov | Douglas County Election Commission, 12220 W Center Road, Omaha, NE 68144 | Election Commissioner: Brian Kruse
- Cost
- $150.00 flat fee (cash or check). Delivered on a USB drive. Updates provided upon request for one year after initial purchase.
- How to request
- Order by contacting the Election Commission directly or by completing the Voter File Request Form (downloadable from the Order Voter Files page). Sign the voter-file affidavit (same § 32-330 use restrictions as the state). Deliver in person or by mail with payment. Election Commission pulls the Douglas-County-scoped extract from NVRS and writes it to USB.
- Turnaround
- Typically a few business days after payment and signed affidavit; USB pickup or mail.
- Use restrictions
- Same Neb. Rev. Stat. § 32-330 use restrictions: elections/political/voter-registration/law-enforcement/jury-selection only; no commercial use; no internet posting. Affidavit required.
Costs and rules change — confirm the current details with the office before you order. Once you have the file, we handle loading it, cutting turf, and getting your volunteers knocking.
