How to get the Lancaster County voter file
Request it from the office below, send us the file, and you're ready to cut turf. Running countywide or in just part of Lancaster County? This is the office either way.
- Where to request it
- Lancaster County Election Commission(402) 441-7311 | fax (402) 441-6379 | vote@lancaster.ne.gov | Lancaster County Election Commission, 601 N 46th Street, Lincoln, NE 68503 | Election Commissioner: Todd Wiltgen (term ends Sept 2027)
- Cost
- Per-record / staff-time fee set by the Election Commission (call ahead to confirm — typical range $25-$100 for a full county-scoped extract; not posted publicly online). Check payable to 'Lancaster County Election Commission' or 'Lancaster County.'
- How to request
- Complete the 'Request Form for List of Registered Voters' (downloadable from lancaster.ne.gov/DocumentCenter/View/23144). Submit by email (vote@lancaster.ne.gov), fax, mail, drop box, or in person. Form must be returned at least one business day before pickup. Requester signs the § 32-330 use-restriction statement on the form itself. Election Commission pulls Lancaster-scoped extract from NVRS.
- Turnaround
- At least one business day after Election Commission receives a complete request; typically same-week pickup for a clean county-scope ask.
- Use restrictions
- Same Neb. Rev. Stat. § 32-330: elections/political/voter-reg/law-enforcement/jury-selection only; no commercial use; no internet posting. Use statement on the request form itself.
Costs and rules change — confirm the current details with the office before you order. Once you have the file, we handle loading it, cutting turf, and getting your volunteers knocking.
