How to get the Pierce County voter file

Request it from the office below, send us the file, and you're ready to cut turf. Running countywide or in just part of Pierce County? This is the office either way.

Where to request it
Pierce County Auditor's Office, Elections Divisionelections@piercecountywa.gov | (253) 798-VOTE (8683) | 2501 S. 35th St., Suite C, Tacoma, WA 98409 | Auditor: Linda Farmer

How to request
Pierce County Auditor's Voter Data page directs requesters to the SOS VRDB for the bulk extract (Pierce records are county code 27 in the statewide file). The county also posts monthly voter data reports — registered voter counts by precinct, by city, by legislative district — as Excel downloads on piercecountywa.gov/7348/Voter-Data, refreshed at the start of each month. For custom data or non-posted extracts, submit a Public Records Act request through the Pierce County Auditor's office.
Turnaround
VRDB through SOS: 1-3 business days. Pierce County PRR: 5 business days statutory acknowledgment; routine voter list extracts typically 5-7 business days; custom queries longer.
Use restrictions
Same as state: RCW 29A.08.720 no-commercial-solicitation; RCW 29A.08.740 felony enforcement.
