Snohomish County, Washington provides its voter data locally. Here's exactly how to get it — then Motion51 loads it in, cuts your turf, and your volunteers start knocking.

How to get the Snohomish County voter file

Request it from the office below, send us the file, and you're ready to cut turf. Running countywide or in just part of Snohomish County? This is the office either way.

Where to request it
Snohomish County Auditor's Office, Elections Divisionelections@snoco.org | (425) 388-3444 | 3000 Rockefeller Ave, M/S 505, Everett, WA 98201 | Auditor: Garth Fell
Cost
Free for the VRDB extract through SOS (recommended). Free for precinct-to-district lists from snoco.org. Snohomish County PRR fees per RCW 42.56.120 standard schedule: free electronic delivery; $0.15/page paper; CD/USB at actual cost.
How to request
Snohomish County uses a 'Voter Data and Map Request Form' (snohomishcountywa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/183) for direct county requests — but the form itself tells requesters that statewide AND county-specific VRDB downloads are available at no fee through the SOS. Precinct-to-district lookups and maps are emailed free from elections@snoco.org. For custom data outside the standard sets, submit a Public Records Act request via the Auditor's office.
Turnaround
VRDB through SOS: 1-3 business days. Direct precinct/district list email from elections@snoco.org: usually same-day to 2 business days. Snohomish County PRR: 5 business days statutory acknowledgment; routine voter list extracts typically 5-10 business days.
Use restrictions
Same as state: RCW 29A.08.720 no-commercial-solicitation; RCW 29A.08.740 felony enforcement.
