Morrow County had an estimated 35,927 residents in July 2024, the 68th most populous of Ohio's 88 counties, up 2.8% since the 2020 census. Of those, 28,248 are 18 or older, the voting-age population, and 20.0% are 65 or older. Its 21,029 active registered voters equal about 74.4% of that voting-age population.

The American Community Survey (2020-2024) puts it at a median age of 43.2, a median household income of $75,283, 19.4% of adults 25 and older holding a bachelor's degree or higher and 81.2% of occupied homes owned by the people living in them.
In 2024, 18,855 votes were cast for president, about 66.7% of the voting-age population; the Democratic ticket took 21.7% and the Republican ticket 77.5%. The two-party margin moved from R+23.4 in 2008 to R+55.8 in 2024.
