Where to request it
Salt Lake County Clerk - Elections Division(385) 468-7400 | elections@saltlakecounty.gov | 2001 S. State St., Suite S1-200, Salt Lake City, UT 84190 | Clerk: Lannie Chapman | GRAMA: https://saltlakecountyut.nextrequest.com/
Cost
GRAMA cost-recovery (typically $20-$200 for a countywide digital extract; per-district extracts often <$50). $35 per 'already voted' list per election. No published flat statewide-style fee.
How to request
Submit a GRAMA records request through the NextRequest portal at https://saltlakecountyut.nextrequest.com/ specifying 'voter registration list' with the desired scope (countywide, specific precinct, ward, council district, school district) and format (CSV preferred). The Elections Division returns a fee quote based on UCA 63G-2-203 cost-recovery (staff time plus media); first 15 minutes of staff time are free. Pay the invoice by card or check; file is emailed as CSV. Separately, 'already voted' lists for each county election are available during the election window for ~$35 per election.
Turnaround
5-10 business days typical for the initial fee quote; another 1-3 days after payment to receive the file. Faster (1-2 days) during non-election windows.
Use restrictions
Same as statewide: UCA 20A-2-104 use-restriction affidavit required; no commercial use, no resale. GRAMA classifications apply at the county level (UCA 63G-2-201 through -206).
