Candidate must provide district voter file

Run Motion51 in Hawaii.

Hawaii is fully available on Motion51. You provide your district's voter file; we load it in, cut your turf, and your volunteers start knocking.

How to get your Hawaii voter file

Hawaii isn't pre-loaded, so you provide the voter file and we load it into Motion51 for you. Here's the official source. Request it from the state, send us the file, and you're ready to cut turf.

Where to request it
Hawaii Office of ElectionsPhone: (808) 453-VOTE (8683) / (808) 453-8683 | Email: [email protected] | 802 Lehua Avenue, Pearl City, HI 96782
Cost
No statewide consolidated file sold to public; each of the four county clerks sets its own fee for its own extract and none publishes a combined statewide figure, so request a quote from each. Aggregate registration/turnout statistics published free at elections.hawaii.gov/resources/registration-voter-turnout-statistics/.
How to request
There is no statewide list to buy. HRS 11-14(a) leaves the general county register with the county clerks, so each of the four counties sells its own extract and a statewide campaign files four separate applications. Each one is sworn: HAR 3-177-160(g) requires a self-subscribing oath setting out the election or government purpose and certifying the data will not be sold, released or used commercially. Fees are set county by county and no combined statewide figure is published, so ask each clerk for a current quote. The extract carries no telephone number, no email address and no date of birth (HAR 3-177-160(c)); residence address and mailing address are provided at a minimum.

Costs and rules change, so confirm the current details on the official page before you order. Each state also has use restrictions on voter data; check the official agency link above for the specifics. Once you have the file, we handle loading it, cutting turf, and getting your volunteers knocking.
